my brother and i came up with the name of his first kid. Felix Lim Fei Li. felix cos it's pretty androgynous so be it boy or girl it can still be used. haha yes fei li as in molest. kudos to my sick bro. i pity his future kid. haha :)

A long time since I wrote a piece
Of friends and family, nor a beast

Friends since JC One we were,
Amounting to not many years.
But close as sisters sure are we,

The course of friendship hasn't been smooth,
And scars and memories we have, to prove.
Trials and tribulations tested us
It seems as though it was a must,
To gauge our strength in each other,
To judge my knowledge and trust in her.
Remember the time when we quarrelled and fought
Over what, I can't recall, but did we not?
Those few days of not speaking between us,
The misunderstandings grew so vast,
I could not control it.
WE could not control it.
But sure enough, things came to a halt
When we stopped finding who's at fault
For we both realized what's more at stake
Is our friendship, not our welfare's sake.
What's important, a friendship does make
It's that we learn to give and take
And through the troubles, we came out strong
Stronger than ever, staying long,
Through thick and thin, we go through now
Together we smile, together we frown.
Although going different schools, we now may be,
And new friends then, we'll surely see.

alr decided. tt's it. :)

went v's hse to bake cookies/cupcakes today. my virgin attempt!! actually they did most of the work.. i helped measure ingredients. hahaha nth much to say except GO SEE THE PHOTOS OF MY COOKIES!! hahaaa

oh and vv's hse is really nice. i noe i always say tt whenever i go her hse, but still..... her hse is nice. :)

ooh!! watched star wars today, i have. not a huge fan of the series, i am. for only the second part, i've watched. ahhh. but such a sad show, it is.

it's so sad tt anakin turned to the dark side.
it's so sad tt he became so evil tt he killed the young jedis. (padawans or sth)
it's so sad when all the jedi knights(i'm not sure wad they're called. those blue and white soldiers who's supposed to be good) turned against their masters and killed them one by one.
it's so sad tt he was so blinded by evil tt he even attacked his one love.
it's so sad to see anakin fight obi-wan.

but nonetheless a great show, it is. and for wonderful seats, thank jk i must.

shit. i went the website to accept the offer and guess wad. i had 3 to choose from. means tt one finally didnt "Your application is still being processed" me anymore.

i tot my eyes were playing tricks on me so i went to their website to check. wth. it must be a rejected offer by someone else.
feeling abit confused rite now. these things seem to creep up on me when i least expect it to. i need to talk to someone but noone is awake at this bloody hour. how?

from hk that is. haha my first time there so i generally had lotsa fun.
buildings there were really tall.. up to 80 levels high i think. the newer office buildings haf reflective material tinted on their glass walls. against the dark backdrop of the night, the reflection of the lights created such a spectacular view.

The highlights,
Day one:
- li yu men for seafood.
- gg to the peak and taking many many photos.
- taking the tram down to the bottom. it was steeeep to the ultimate degree.
- ooh ooh and my first time sitting on a no-roof bus! like the hippo bus but cheaper
- taking the ferry from hk island to the new territories
- avenue of stars. erm but most of them were lacking in the stars' hand prints
Day two:
- woke up at 7 despite sleeping at like 2am that morning
- repulse bay. the tour guide pointed out jackie chan's house
- the jumbo place. i vaguely rmb gg there when i was 3!
- eating some dessert i've nv seen before. the bottom is sesame paste and the top is covered with some egg white-milk thingy. it was supposed to be award-winning and i guess it is, frm the satisfied "wah hen hao chi" of the uncles and aunties in my tour grp. but i din really like it.. in fact i was like yucks hahah
- the wishing tree! like the ones in the tvbs sh0ws. i made a wish!!
- nu ren jie. it was like permanent pasar malam street
Day three:
- da4 yu3 shan1. the one with the huge buddha statue. it was their vesak day and we waited more than an hour to eat lunch at the vegetarian restaurant nearby!!
- da4 ao4. it's a fishing village and we sat on this motorboat which drives us round the place to see the village pple in their houses. all of them were mahjong-ing in their houses!! the pong sound of tiles clashing was so eminent
- shopped awhile at causeway bay. oh man the number of pple there tt nite.... i was on the 3rd level of one of the shops looking down and they were like little ants surging forward
- walked along temple street since it was so near our hotel looking for stuff to buy
Day four:
- most of the day spent at ocean park. i was forced to sit the mine train roller coaster by tt twit hong. ni3 gei2 wo3 ji4 zhu4. :- shopping agn at mongkok. near nu ren jie.
- last nite at hotel. anna stayed over with us
Day Five:
- walked down nathan street along jordan road near the hotel.
- washed up, checked out, and it's bye hk and time to go home

actually there's really nth much to shop. the stuff there are pretty much the same as those in spore and the prices are also the same. so din get to buy much. bought a pair of sandals, act cute shoes (my first covered shoes!!), a black top, earrings and a bag. was hoping to get more stuff but ohwells. hahah. and yes the food was nice but it was super salty!! like salt is free liddat. shld haf checked my blood pressure level before and after the trip. hahah

came back to spore and to regular life. ahhhhh........... ohwell i once said i'm not gonna complain abt pettystuff anymore so.. but really ah i'm NOT your maid OKAY??
i am soooo looking fwd to me and my bro not being ard the hse anymore. weshallsee.

i'm so sorry for all the petty little arguments i always have. i now admit i'm super fortunate.

today was an eye-opener for me. i was having tuition as per normal, but halfway thru, i heard this loud and terrible skin-crawling wail. i can't even begin to describe that sound. u haf to be there to noe wad i'm talking abt. i was trying to see what was creating the noise that was making all my hair stand on end. and guess wad. it was the brother.
den he stopped wailing, screaming, crying or wad u call it.
den he started again.
and stopped.
and started.
a 20 plus grown man standing by the kitchen wailing away really scared the shit out of me. i think he was in serious pain, due to his kidney or spine or just generally his back or wadeva. and in the room, the mother was shouting across asking him wad the problem was and everything. he said he was in terrible pain and needed to visit the doctor. then he went into the room to get money from the mother. after awhile, the mother shouted for my student, "wu lui bor?"
so my student went in to dig out her savings and empty her piggy bank. den before any of us knew wad was happening, the brother said he called for an ambulance for himself alr. ok finnneee.
soon the medics came and by den either he was getting used to the pain or he was just trying to save face, i dunno, he was surprisingly calm. comparitively. a few minutes ago he was screaming.
they parked the sitting stretcher outside the flat and came in, attending to him, asking why he was shivering, no, shaking so much. asked abt medical history, any illness, wad medicine he is currently taking etc.
And den i realized. within that short less-than-a-minute conversation between the medic and the mother, i suddenly knew why all this while he seemed so, erm, useless. i used to think why a big man like him is forever home and taking money from the already poor parents. apparently he has some mental problem and is still taking medicine from "ban qiao", and once fell (accidentally or otherwise) from the fifth floor when he was slightly younger.
my student whispered to me "wahlau. call ambulance." in a tone which says wad a waste of money. and her sentiment was echoed by the mother, who's first question to the medics was not "how is he" nor "wad happened to him", but "duo shao?"
the medic, who was injecting painkillers at that time, answered "depends on how much he needs to last him the trip to the hospital. the doctors will give him proper medicine later."
"bu shi, jiu hu che yao duo shao qian?"
natural instinct makes us wonder why the mother was so heartless, or rather, so stingy. but knowing their family, i knew she was not. money was an issue. they didnt even haf the spare cash to pay for a visit to the neighbourhood gp, wad more the hospital bills.
and she proved me right. as the sirens of the ambulance faded away into the distance, i could hear her feeling for her buddha praying beads. her chanting filled the background as my student and i forced our minds back to fractions and decimals.

i am one lucky girl.

hong came over to return me the guitar (finally) and to pass me the flight schedules. been some time since i last saw her and we spent the evening updating and erm, gossiping. haha. went out to watch movie after tt..interpreter is not bad but it's a really serious show. hahh.
din noe one of my exclassmates is in superstar..gg for round 2 of auditions this sun. i think i shall go imm look see after the hi tea thingy.
ohyes and xiang passed her driving liao!! so proud of her. and on her first try too!! haha. to think she was msging me b4 her test and saying how scared and worried she was. u go girl!

sometimes i wonder, do many of us stay as frens just for the namesake of being frens? how do u tell if someone is ur close fren? by the number of times u both go out, by the numerous fone calls u two make with one another, by the lavishness of the gifts u shower upon each other, what? wad if u found out tt someone whom u treated as a good fren not only didnt reciprocate, but was complaining abt u behind ur back? can u really confront the person and ask why he was being such a hypocrite? because wad would u do den, if tt person answers "u mean we're good frens?"? the only thing u'll really only achieve is to make urself look stupid and presumptous.

someone is being plain silly. first the bag, then the specs and now earrings. why??
ok nvm. i promised myself not to be bothered by her childish antics. so, "wadeva". *makes the W shape using my fingers*

i always wondered what exactly is gg thru her mind for her to be doing things like tt. as if she's out to make my life difficult. come to think of it, it is worse still, if she really is two-faced like tt. being two-faced isn't exactly the best quality one looks for in friends.

today had a great nite out with "sweetie". woman, i always see u but yep it's been a looong time since just the both of us went out tgt! hahah. i really had fun tonight!

now planning another trip out after coming back frm hk. prob a shopping trip to bangkok or an exotic tour to bintan. with the 3 of them! can't wait too!! but tt means draining the rest of the money i earned this hols. booboo.

and i need to rmb to ask my parents if they'd like to sponser me for driving lessons. haha. not very cheap k! and i'll be doing my dad a favour cos den he wun be the only one to be designated driver. haha

k i really wanna go play taxi liao so i'll update agn next time~
