Rarrr! Frustrated that I can't play the piano pieces in the piano duel part in jaychou's Secret properly. I'm deproving (i know there's no such word, whatever) sooo fast it's alarming. =(( And because there's noone else at home who can really play with me, I've got to try that 4-parter piece with just my 2 hands. How sad is that you tell me.
I've been youtube-ing some of my old time favourite cartoons that have since disappeared from the tv screens, and they're just the best. Beats most of the cartoons they have now hands down. (spongebob not included)

It's early morning now and I'm blogging from wj's house - after a night of mahjonging, the rest are out like a light and sleeping like pigs. Only kel and I are up like the insanely mad pple we are, thanks to our screwed up body clocks we trained since the exam period a month ago. He koped my 8days so I'm surfing the net instead.
Dear Santa, I know I've not been the most perfect person, but I think I've been a much better girl this year than last year, does that count for anything? I'm not a greedy girl, I just would like my life to be perfect, thankyouverymuch. If that can't do, perhaps grant me a thousand wishes? I'm going to get my aunt to get me a PSP, so you don't have to bother about that part of my christmas wishlist. kumsia.

What I've been up to.
Last week was a mess of birthday celebrations, impromptu or otherwise. This week is and will be spent helping out my aunt.
It is one thing to enter a client's place all by yourself, another to do so as an auditor. I was nonplussed and, honestly, scared shit about facing them, and they were totally not helping by not being very friendly. I think it's the first time I truely feel friendless and unwelcomed!! Like they want me gone asap. I tell you, auditors are such misunderstood people. *gives a loud dramatic sighhh* I mean, we're all just there to do our work aren't we? Anyway for now, I just need to keep telling myself to work faster so that I don't need to go back on friday. Tmr's a done deal though. One more day, one more day. But there's SO MUCH work to complete you know? *gives another loud dramatic sighhh*

Anyway I can now add 'personally painted a room' to my list of Been there, done thats. Painted the walls of Help's centre over the weekend and the little boy kelvin was such a dear. Kept wanting to tune to the station with the news so that we'd be forced to keep ourselves updated with current affairs. haha. But until today I've still got white paint under my nails!! *bimbo* Yes I've got nails now. (:
Ok I'd better get back to sleep soon if I want to try to clear all my work by tmr. Although I did concuss earlier on from 9 to 12. Work is tiring laa. One good thing though, is that I get to walk in to the office anytime I like cos they really can't be bothered with me. In fact, the later I arrive the happier they are. So that I can't bug them. HAHA. Ohwells, as long as I get my work done la.
On a side note, I'm quite curious to know what's all the fuss about this book. I'm not that much of a harrypotter fanatic, but JKR never stops writing, and that's good. Tales of beedle the bard! haha.
Now I'm gonna click 'Publish Post', and hope nothing goes wrong because of all the photos. Off I go, tata!

It isn't about the value of the presents, nor the number of gifts itself; it never was. It's the company, the thought and sincerity, and the love from them.
Birthday lunch at marmalade pantry with the LOTS, and then dinner with the family. A surprise longD call from junyen in china, I couldnt even guess who it was, I really didn't expect it! Plus a couple other calls from people who care -
more than enough to remind me what a lucky girl I am.

Now, hopefully, as a belated present, to wait for that call from ey with fingers crossed, and everything will be perfect. At least, close to. hehh.
I've learnt quite alot these few days, about assumptions, about differing expectations, about family, about friendships. I've probably had a glimpse of what really is, truth in its most pure and uncovered form. It hasn't been a pleasant journey, it's been shocking, it's been bitter. Sometimes just when you think that you're ready to hear the truth, you realize the truth hurts so much that you'd rather not know. But I believe I've learnt from it all, and I AM ready to handle the truth, because you know why?
