I remember once when I was young, and we were all walking along some place i dunno where, when this damn fierce dog came running towards us barking like mad. I remember being damn scared, and then I remember my dad stepping right in front of us and stretching his arms wide in a very protective stance and shooing the dog away. I can't really recall what happened after that, but recently as I just found out, turns out my dad is actually afraid of dogs all these while too.
That's man, and that's familial love.
You, my friend, are nowhere near man, nor are you selfless, so stop thinking so highly of urself and pick up your pretty lil faerie wings and buzz off.
I need to stop being so mean right? haha. Alright, that'll be my resolution for the year, among other things, such as to STOP PROCRASTINATING.
Anyway the other day I went shopping with my mum and we walked by some quilt covers and she was like all "qin, cheesebob!!" while pointing to a set nearby.
"Cheesebob? What cheesebob??"
"Cheesebob!! That yellow thing you always watch!!"

So Monday spells the start of a month of hell, and Monday's a day away. =((( I feel like I've got not enough time!! I still wanna rest more, play more, and sleep more.
I've officially got Monday blues on a Saturday.

A 16gig ipod nano!! What I've wanted since steve jobs introduced this latest version. It's from my parents no less, I have no idea how (they're touring in sri lanka right at this very moment) but yes it's here. (: Probably with the help of my bro, and the card that came with it was short, sweet and hilarious.
Did I mention I'm the luckiest girl around? =D

Some people just have this ability to make me easily annoyed. Congratulations. Or I'm being irritable again la, bleah.
On to happier things, the garden's undergone new landscaping so we finally get to see a clearer (albeit emptier-looking) patch of green than before. And! We finally got around to buying a christmas tree (we bought all the ornaments and balls and tinsels a week ago HAHA) and I freaking pieced the tree all by myself cos everyone else was somehow busy today! But when it came to decorating, everyone amazingly became free again. How convenient. haha. But seeing the whole fam squeezing their way to decorate the tree and bickering about who's style is nicer made everything so christmasy and warm. Now all we need are presents! wheeeee

So......... if my parents leave for hokkaido on the 2nd and I leave for europe on the 6th...... that leaves my sis 5 full days of total freedom to the house. I hope she doesn't turn the house upside down then. HAHA. And nobody to send me to the airport! booooooooo.

Finally the last of sending-people-offs.
Again, am mighty depressed about being stuck in singapore having to worry about oh shit it's past cny and i've yet to catch up on ANY work, all the while longing to takeoff on the next jet plane and just fly to somewhere. sigh.
Saw a couple of camera-worthy shots today, too bad v's forever-no-batt camera was, as usual, without battery. Tearful farewells, brave fronts, group hugs and the like. Pretty amazing, and heartwarming too.
So my dearest bro is now on his way to the land of the cows - I'm going to admit I was really quite sad, I'm gonna miss him lots because afterall he knows me better than anyone in my family. We're that close. Also, who's going to entertain me and let me criticize to no end for the next 6 mths? haha. But I'm sure he's going to have a blast, and really, it's only 6 months. (:

What I've been up to.
Last week was a mess of birthday celebrations, impromptu or otherwise. This week is and will be spent helping out my aunt.
It is one thing to enter a client's place all by yourself, another to do so as an auditor. I was nonplussed and, honestly, scared shit about facing them, and they were totally not helping by not being very friendly. I think it's the first time I truely feel friendless and unwelcomed!! Like they want me gone asap. I tell you, auditors are such misunderstood people. *gives a loud dramatic sighhh* I mean, we're all just there to do our work aren't we? Anyway for now, I just need to keep telling myself to work faster so that I don't need to go back on friday. Tmr's a done deal though. One more day, one more day. But there's SO MUCH work to complete you know? *gives another loud dramatic sighhh*

Anyway I can now add 'personally painted a room' to my list of Been there, done thats. Painted the walls of Help's centre over the weekend and the little boy kelvin was such a dear. Kept wanting to tune to the station with the news so that we'd be forced to keep ourselves updated with current affairs. haha. But until today I've still got white paint under my nails!! *bimbo* Yes I've got nails now. (:
Ok I'd better get back to sleep soon if I want to try to clear all my work by tmr. Although I did concuss earlier on from 9 to 12. Work is tiring laa. One good thing though, is that I get to walk in to the office anytime I like cos they really can't be bothered with me. In fact, the later I arrive the happier they are. So that I can't bug them. HAHA. Ohwells, as long as I get my work done la.
On a side note, I'm quite curious to know what's all the fuss about this book. I'm not that much of a harrypotter fanatic, but JKR never stops writing, and that's good. Tales of beedle the bard! haha.
